Hey all, i have just taken a moment to enjoy that late afternoon low lying sun, just beautiful. Its the simple things. So make for the cold and rainy forecast, its been an awesome day! I think the rain came early ie. overnight.
How are you all? Things are going well here. It has been a very busy week. When i last posted it was Joff's birthday and he had just received his new tent for his birthday present. That night we went out with some friends for pizza and beer which was great and feeling slightly happy Joff and I and my sister Kate galloped home like horses, joff ate some beautiful lush grass and then spent all the next day recovering! (i'm sure he won't mind me telling you!)
Sunday night we headed to Flowerdrum a very swanky Chinese restaurant in the City, until recently holding the number one restaurant in Melbourne for years running. I won a voucher for two people earlier in the year at an AMA function and we decided to use it for Joff's birthday/ our 5 year anniversary. It was a great night and a great way to finish my holidays. The food and service was incredible!
This week it has been back at work. Joff has been loving his course and using his chisels and saw. I am enjoying being back at work in Emergency although it has been a busy week with the public holiday for Anzac Day.
I did manage to fit a few other things in- went to see the best VCE art project for 2006 exhibition- well worth a visit- there are some incredibly talented and creative students out there!
Also caught up with Joff's uncle David the other night while he was over on a flying business trip.
Last night went to the Pink concert with my family which was great- she had an amazing presence on the stage and was an excellent performer. Some of her acts were just incredible. And watchin the little kids go crazy singing along to songs about drugs and masturbation was kind of funny and a bit weird- i think some parents only just clicked on to the lyrics while they were at the concert!
Anyway better go and enjoying the last of the sunshine. Joff will have had a great day sailing!
Love, min xxx
