Well yesterday we said farewell to Mildura and made the long drive back to Melbourne. It was a long day, the car packed to the brim but it is nice to be home again. Exams are over and i have swapped my time studying for time getting organised for the trip and catching up with friends.
Our last night in Mildura was fantastic. We went around to Hannah and Geoff's for a bbq and sat outside eating delicious food while Mildura put on a spectacular electrical storm with fork lightening. We sat under to canopy, small drops of rain making their way through the grape vines overhead and watched the sky light up.
Last night back in Melbourne we went down to a cute little bar in Kensington called Tonik and caught up with some of my school friends over a couple of bottles of champagne and a lovely Savvy B from NZ. We were so exhauted when we finally got home and into bed that we fell asleep with the light on and our clothes on only to wake up at 6am very confused!
Today it is time to do something with all the clutter in my room the we just plonked down around the bed last night! Wish me luck!
