another beautiful day in Guatemala.
we arrived at Lago Atitilan yesterday and have settled in nicely to the relaxing lifestyle of San Pedro La Laguna. The lake is stunning, surrounded by volcanoes, with mist on the water in the morning and evening. This morning the water was like glass and Kate and I went kayaking to a nearby beach and made friends with some local kids.
tomorrow we are off to ChiChi market for some shopping and undoubtedly more food. We keep being amazed that so far every meal we have had has been delicious!
there are thoughts of spending every christmas new year period in a new location if this trip keeps going the way it is...
Mum and Kate survived the Volcano (just) although mum has serious doubts with tour guides promises now!
